Milk protein fiber has been concerned in many reports since coming out. And various reports on this kind of fiber have been reported. The thesis takes the Milk protein fiber as the object and carries out systemic and overall research on its physical performance, spinning process and property of blended knit fabric.First of all, the thesis researches and analyzes Milk protein fiber's physical performances, mainly analyzing its mechanics properties and moisture absorption. Through the analytic results, we learn that the Milk protein fiber shows fine intensity, moisture absorption and high speed of drying. However some deficiencies affect the Milk protein fiber's application, such as serious electrostatic, smooth surface.Secondly, on the basis of learning the physical performance, its spinning properties are practiced and studied. Milk protein fiber has fine performance of intensity and elasticity, fitting to textile. Since the deficiencies of milk protein fiber, during the spinning, fibers easily wrap machines and serious fly. Therefore, fibers need add in the resist electrostatic agent before spinning, and the moisture of work keeps sixty-five percent to seventy percent. Despite of this shortcoming, the Milk protein fiber is a kind of fine textile materialFinally, according to the theory above, the thesis mainly tests and analyzes the thermal-moisture comfortability of the seven kinds of knitted blend fabrics. The property items involve warmth retention property, air permeability, water vapor transmission, absorbent moisture quality, wick ability, absorbency and drying property in the air. The fiber materials include Milk protein fiber, cotton and coolmax. Furthermore, adapting the gray cluster analysis, a brief evaluation had been made which included thermal-moisture comfort properties of different kinds of knitted fabrics in high and low temperature conditions.
