Low grade copper became more and more important because the high-quality copper minerals alone fail to meet the increasing demand at home and abroad. Mao Feishan oxidized copper ore is high silicon, low grade and difficult to separate. The grade is 1.04%, the oxidization ratio is 52.94%. Copper mineral is the main recovered element in mineral processing. The main copper minerals are malachite, chrysocolla, little chalcopyrite, chalcosine and even little bornite and covellite. The main gangue mineral is quartz and accounts for 97%. The copper minerals are not even irreqularity distributed in the ore, and have complex paragentic relationship with the gangue, the most of them are wripped by quartz and iron mineral in the fine or very fine.According to the characteristic of the ore, and in order to recover effectively copper mineral, in the condition of the grind fineness is 90%-200 mesh, three methods are proposed:preferential flotation of sulphide copper, mixed flotation of sulphide and oxidized copper, leaching-flotation. The result shows, the mixed flotation of sulphide and oxidized copper is the best. In the flotation, combination of butylxanthate and butylamine black powder is used as the collector, combination of humic acid sodium, water glass and phosphoric acid ethylene diamine is used as the regulator, and the terpineol is used as frother. After the best technology flow and flotation factors were established, we did the open circuit flow. The content result is,the grade of concentrate was 20.54%, and the recovery of copper was 80.57% through the twice roughing, once scavenging and once cleaning. And then through leaching the tailing ore,the total recovery of copper was 89.27%.
