Due to the Titanium alloy having the advantages of excellent corrosion-proof, high specific strength, good high and low temperature performance,so its rod and wire are the most potential materials in the application of metal deformation.Therefore, its products are widely used in aerospace, medical devices, food and chemical industry, motor vehicle,naval vessels fields etc.Currently the process technology of wire and rod Titanium alloy could not meet a increasing demand as well as its structure property .Y-roller milling is a new milling method which was explored successfully in 1950's.It has many advantages such as high deformation efficiency, continuous production and excellent over-all properties.In the paper, Combining the characteristics of Titanium alloy as well as the advantages of Y mill ,the author Propose using Y- roller mill by means of rational designed pass schedule, speed and temperature schedule etc rolling Process Parameters to get required structure property and with fairly higher precision of size and shape,thereby reduce the difficulty of finishing processing , material consumption and processing costs to meet the requirements of Titanium alloy in many fields. In this paper, with the application of ANYS MARC as well as large deformation thermal-mechanical-coupled elasto-plastic method ,the continuous rolling process in 3-roll mill is simulated ,and deformation of rolled pieces,roller pressure,rolling torque in the process of Y-roller milling are analyzed thereby provide the basis for the design of finishing mill group equipment.
