7050 A-alloy is light structure material that used on aviation and astronavigation, This kind of alloy has many advantages, such as high strength, high ductility and perviousness. With the development of national defence and civil aviation high performance aero plane, the quantity of requirement of large dimension thick slab of 7050 A-alloy So the main method of production of this series of A-alloy large dimension slab ingot—Semi-continuous Casting is widely researched Because of complex chemical composition, large dimension and large flakiness ratio, the crack of slab ingot has large tendency. Because of convenience and low-cast, mathematic simulation, especially finite element analysis is used in the field of Semi-continuous Casting.In this article, MARC software is used to do the research of thermo and force analysis of A-alloy Semi-continuous Casting, then the following problems are discussed:1. Based on finite element theories and the common heat transfer equation, considering the contribution of thermal field and stress field by processing parameter, a dynamic heat transfer and thermal stress mathematic and physical model is established;2. Using Fortran language to secondary exploit MARC. In order to make the simulating results more credible, the whole process of slab ingot from fluid to solid and to the temperature of slab ingot stabilization is simulated more accurately;3. According to the industrial practices, the three-dimensioned finite element model of A-alloy large slab ingot Semi-continuous Casting are established, the initial condition and boundary condition are fixed;4. Simulated the regularity of alteration of the field process, the temperature field and stress field of the liquid Aluminum solidifying is simulated; According to changing the cooling water of the crystallizer (change the heat transfer intensity of the first and second cooling region)and casting speeds and initial temperature etc. The influence regularity of the process condition to temperature field and stress field is synthetically analyzed According to the resulting rules,we can guide the Semi-continuous Casting more efficiently.5. The experiment have been done to provide the initial condition for three-dimension analysis and validate the correctness of simulation results. According to the results both from simulation and experiments, we can see that the simulation result is almost the same as the experiment result; therefore, both the model and the analysis method are correct.
