| Second-order nonlinear optical(NLO) material is not only used as frequencytransform material in solid laser technology, but also widely used in delivering,storing and extracting information. In the thesis, a series of organic ionic salt (liquid)which have Second-order nonlinear optical property is designed and researched, andthe used area of organic ionic salt (liquid) got expanded. All these organic saltbehaves good chemical and physical properties. The compound ccs-2-66 exhibit goodsecond-order nonlinear optical property make it can competitive some commonnonlinear optical materials. This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter1: Firstly, the basic theoretical definition is briefly introduced, and thecategory of the nonlinear optical materials and ionic salt (liquid) is concluded.Meanwhile the definition and structure of ionic salt (liquid) is introduced and theapplication in chemical field is enumerated.Chapter2: The structure and design theory of organic Second-order nonlinearoptical molecular is introduced. Following the theory, we use imidazole as the startmaterial, through three steps to get the new compound chloride imidazole salt, andthen through anion exchange we get the PF6 and NTf2 salt. Meanwhile the conditionand mechanism of the reaction is discussed.Chapter3:Firstly all the 20 new ionic salt(liquid) synthesized in this paper whichuses imidazole as the mother core get structure confirmed by FT-IR, 1HNMR, 19FNMR,MS, XRD, and EA. And then the NLO property, heat stability and transparency gettested through HRS, TGA and UV-Vis.
