This paper studied on the preparation, control of morphology, assembled mechanism ofsome morphology of the vanadium complex nano-structure materials. Then, thesematerials were employed as precursor to prepare series of vanadium oxide and themorphology transferring from complex precursor to nano-metal oxide was investigated.Besides, the fluorescence of the complex nano-material and the thermo catalysisperformances of nano-metal oxide are also investigated.The V2O5 powder was complexed with a ligand contained nitrogen(2,3-Diaminophenazine, 2,3-DAP) and the series of vanadium complex nano-structurematerials were obtained. Modern characterization method including XRD, IR,Raman,TEM and TG-DTA are employed to analyze the structures and morphologies of suchmaterials. By changing the method, pH values and the temperature of the reaction,complex with a series of different morphologies, which contain the helix nano-structure(helix rod and layered helix rod), layered structure, nanotube, nanowire and so on, weregained. Especially we have gained a novel nano-helix micro-structure.The assemble mechanisms of some special morphologies of the complex nano-structural materials are also investigated. According to the results, The layer structure ofcomplex may be explained that the ligands pillared V2O5 layers and formed the layerstructure. The assemble mechanism of helix morphology may be explained that thestacking of ligand molecules adopted the helix form, just like the arraying in cholestericphase of liquid crystals.The Vanadium oxides with special morphologies were obtained by heating thecomplex precursors and the phenomena of morphology transfer from precursors tovanadium oxides was observed on the condition of temperature-programmed.According to fluorescence test, we found that the fluorescence of vanadium complexwas enhanced compared to the ligand. The AP decomposition experiments are also carriedout with Vanadium oxides as catalyst, and the results reveal that the Vanadium oxides havedefinite catalysis effect in AP decomposition process.
