In this paper,by respectively using DBS,CTAB and TW-80 as templating agents , using aluminum nitrate as aluminum source, the meso-structured nanometerγ-Al2O3 powders were synthesized by sol-gol process. XRD, IR,.TG-DSC, TEM and N2 absorption-desorption were carried out to characterize the as-synthesized materials, in order to investigate the factors affecting organization, morphology and porous structure of as-synthesized materials of synthesis procedure such as the kinds of templet, its amount of tamplating agents, the aging time , the calcining conditions and so on.. adsorption capabilities of samples are measured by AAS and UV-Vis and discussed the adsorption abilities with CTAB as tamplating agents in different condition on mesoporous nanometerγ-Al2O3 powders.The experiments have demonstrated that taking DBS ,CTAB and TW-80 as tamplating agents, in the condition calcined at 550°C. aging 48h, sintering 3h , mesoporous nanometerγ-Al2O3 powders have been achieved with surface area 219.6-551.8m2/g, average pore diameter about 5.45nm-6.68 nm, pore volume 0.31 cm3/g-0.92 cm3/g , pore distribution are in the scope of 2-16nm (mostly on 2-10nm.) Compared with those using DBS and tw-80 as tamplating agents, The obtained samples with CTAB as template show the following differences.in structure properties: such as the particles become more homogenous and the porous structures become more regular, its average pore size are at 6.68 nm .The pore distribution become narrow apparently by the rage of 6.24-8.87nm .The specific surface area increase in a certain extent and reach the value of 551.8m2/g.. It also shows that they all have obviously influence on Grain size of sample and Secondary particle size by turning the tamplating agents and its amountand, aging time and calcinations condition .The results show that mesoporous nanometerγ-Al2O3 powders Synthesized with CTAB as tamplating agents has a preferably adsorption capabilities at wide range of pH to various kinds of phosphate anions and has a high adsorption capability at pH =5.5; at range of pH 5-6.5, 8-9,2.5-9 mesoporous nanometerγ-Al2O3 powders .have preferably adsorption capabilityto Ag+; Ag(NH3)2+ ; Ag(S2O3)23-, respectively , at pH 6-7, it has a preferably adsorption capability to La3; at pH 4-7, it has a high adsorption capability to Ce4+. mesoporous nanometerγ-Al2O3 powders . can be recovered by turning pH.. The results indicated that it has a high adsorptive speed, a short time to adsorption equilibrium and temperature.has little effect on mesoporous nanometerγ-Al2O3 powders..
