The topic come from the project of international cooperation "Design development and experimental research of Tapping Units ", in view of the fact that the developed equipment of Tapping Units in the structure to have the certain limitation, using logical,systematic, inferential mechanism design methodology ,on the basis of the existing equipment of Tapping Units,surpassing the existing equipment is the main research contents of the topic. The methodologies of classifying linkage mechanisms of Jehnson's and the regeneration of kinematic chains of Hong-sen Yan's which have representative position are analyzed and discussed in this paper. Discussed the regeneration of kinematic chains of Hong-sen Yan's, discovered generalized principle of helical pair of Hong-sen Yan's is one-sided ,posed a new generalized principle of helical pair,developed a new case with independent intellectual property rights.Reasearch work and Innovations are as follows:Has outlined the content of mechanism and importance of modern machinery design, explored the domestic development of the modern design methods, the problems still exist.Studied the methodologies of classifying linkage mechanisms of Jehnson's, posed a new method that using matrix in the methodologies of classifying linkage mechanisms of Jehnson's,resolved the problem of basic chain.Carried on the analysis from the redundant motion degree of freedom, discussed generalized principle of Hong-sen Yan's, have a surplus in certain geometric conditions that the existence of freedom, but they will not affect the input-output relations drive.The generalized principle of Hong-sen Yan's want to eliminate redundant degree of freedom, but generalized principle of helical pair of Hong-sen Yan's is one-side, did not have uniqueness. Finally,put in a new generalized principle of helical pair.In the above research foundation, according to the technical characteristic of developed equipment of Tapping Units, used the new generalized principle of helical pair , by generalization, obtained to the primitive mechanis of 7 componentsand 8 joints , by generalization joint, obtained generalization kinematical chain of 8 poles and 10 joints, obtained 36 kinds of the regeneration kinematic chain,according to the restraint of innovation design of Tapping Units, obtained 5 kinds of the creative regeneration kinematic chain from 36 kinds of the regeneration kinematic chain , except the primitive kinematic chain, then , according to the restraint of innovation design of Tapping Units to choose 3 kinds of the creative regeneration kinematic chain , finally , obtained three kinds of new mechanism of Tapping Units, had the independed intellectual property rights, and drawed the mechanism diagram, had realized innovation design of Tapping Units.In summary, The methodologies of classifying linkage mechanisms of Jehnson's and the regeneration of kinematic chains of Hong-sen Yan's which have representative position are analyzed and discussed in this paper,posed a new a new generalized principle of helical pair.Finally, had realized innovation design of Tapping Units, had the independed intellectual property rights.
