Millimeter-wave Antenna Planar Near Field Measurement Error Of Quantitative Analysis

As the Planar Near-Field Measurement is widely used, a lot of studies of the errors analysis are carried out. Now, the measurement about the millimeter wave antenna needs the corresponding results of the errors analysis. In this dissertation, it mainly gives the analyses about the influence from the truncation, position and the random errors, which are useful in the measurement system design.The modal has been set up to calculate the far-field pattern with the errors which was focused. The result was compared with the theoretic far-field pattern, so the errors due to the truncation were acquired. And the Taylor expansion and recursive calculating were use in analysis of the position error. The errors due to the random errors in the sampled datum also can be acquired in the modal mentioned before. Then, according to the error equations and the error modal, the combinative contribution is acquired.The other errors were also summed and listed in this dissertation for the errors combination.
