Europium Strontium aluminate is a kind of luminescence material with the merits of higy brilliance, long afterglow, stable performance , no radioactivity. So much attention has been focused on it recently. In this paper we studied the synthesis of Europium Strontium aluminate by microwave radiation method systemicly.(1) Nowadays SrAl2O4:Eu2+ was unstable with water. According to the question we synthesised SrAl2O4:Eu2+ with high water-fast successfully. The diameter was between 300-700nm, It can be used directly without rubbing. The effect of RE3+ ( RE = Ce3+,Tb3+,Er3+,Ho3+,Dy3+,Nd3+) on SrAl2O4:Eu2+ under microwave condition was studied and the result showed that the doped Nd3+, Dy3+ could improve the afterglow roperty obviously.(2). The blue luminescence material of Sr2Al6O11:Eu2+ was synthesized by microwave radiation method for the first time. The crystal was orthorombic, Pnnm space group with parameters a = 21.91827? ,b = 8.40857?, c = 4.88175?. The effect on the composion and luminescence character of ethanol as dispersant and boric acid as assistive solvent were studied. And the optimum reaction condition were confirmed: MnO2 was absorbing medium, 5w% boric acid was assistive solvent and reaction time was 60 minutes. We studied the effect on the composion and luminescence property aroused by different ratio of Sr: Al. With the increasing amount of Al2O3 the composion changed from rich Sr to rich Al: Sr3Al2O6â†'SrAl2O4â†'Sr2Al6O11,the luminescence was blue shift. The diameter became bigger. Al excessive propriety could improve luminescence intensity. The effect of RE3+ ( RE = Ce3+,Tb3+,Er3+,Ho3+,Dy3+,Nd3+) on the composion and luminescence character of Sr2Al6O11:Eu2+. The blue long afterglow luminescence material of SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Er3+ was synthesized by microwave radiation method for the first time. The afterglow time could be 14 hours if it was excitated by fluorescent lamp.
