In order to obtain the compounds of anti-tumor cell and anti-pathogenic microbes from endophitic fungi fermentation, in this research, more than 200 strains endophytic fungi were isolated from the Taxus Yunnanensis. In order to find out the aim strains which produced the Taxanes derivates, they were cultured in the liquid potato medium and indentified by means of TLC and HPLC. The result showed 3 strains may have the ability to yield the Taxanes derivates, one strain of fungi which was signed 12.3.2 produced taxol or its derivates, the other strains 12.4.3 and H⑥1.1 produced BaccatinⅢor its derivates. So the strains 12.3.2, 12.4.3 and H⑥1.1 were regarded as the aim strains, and the biology characters of them were studied, such as the conidiophores, the colony and the characteristics of strains cultured in the broth. As a result, strains 12.3.2 and H⑥1.1 were identified as Penicillium., and strain 12.4.3 was identified as Aspergillus.. To find out the bioactivity of the aim strains and to accumulate the source of new drug discovering, the anti-pathogenic microbe of the aim strains was discussed, using the pathogenic microbe (Staphylococcus aureus,Bacillus subtilis,Escherichia coli.,p.aeruginosa,Candida albicans) as the indictor bacteria. The anti-bacteria experiments showed that all of the 3 strains had the ability to inhibit those pathogenic bacteria. Especially strain 12.3.2 had the higher inhibition to those 5 pathogenic bacteria.Because the strain 12.3.2 had the ability to produce the taxol or its derivates and had the higher bioactivity, so it was used as the trial material in the following researches. Three componds was isolated from 5 L fermentation broth by Silica gel column chromatography, which were identified as 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid diisooctylester, ethyl oleate and cembrene by UV, IR, MS and NMR.The anti-bacteria experiments showed that the cembrene had the ability to inhibit the growth of those pathogenic bacteria.
