The burden process is the first step of copper flash smelting. Thequality of burden influences the quality of copper flash smeltingproduction. In the present burden process, the proportion of every copperconcentrate is decided by manual computation, owing to its subjectivityand limitation, which is apt to attend one thing and lose another so thatthe material can not be used rationally. Therefore, how to optimize theburden process to keep the quality of concentrates and consider therational use of raw material, is significant for steady burden, reducing thecost of production, increasing economic benefits of enterprises.On the background of burden process of copper flash smelting inGuxi, this paper mainly does research in the satisfactory optimization forthe burden process of copper flash smelting and its application. Firstly,based on analyzing the characteristics and corresponding fruits of optimaltheories and methods, and considering the characteristics of the practicalburden process, a new thought which tries to implement the burdenoptimization in view of satisfactory is proposed. Secondly, in order toimplement the optimization for burden process, an optimal model is builtup after analyzing the problem of present proportion computation,considering major influencing factors, which integrates the component,the cost and the storage of copper concentrates. As to the model, theboundaries of constraints are adjusted according to the conception of softconstraint to improve the feasibility of the optimal problem, and thecorresponding satisfactory function is built up. Then genetic algorithm isproposed to get the optimum solution, where a vector is decided bycrossover and mutation of single variable's coding, such that thefeasibility of new solution can be guaranteed. Meanwhile, the fitness ofsolution is defined by the satisfactory function and the objective function.Finally the computation results with practical running data show that theapplication of the optimal model can reduce the cost and lower impuritiesand also satisfy the request of flash smelting.On the basis of research mentioned above, a burden optimal systemfor copper flash smelting is developed in this paper. The structure, functions and implement of the system are all presented, in which thetechnologies such as database, using MFC developing ActiveX controlare introduced in detail. The system software, developed by VC++,realizes functions of proportion monitoring, information management ofconcentrates, data leading-in, proportion computation and help. Thewhole system is useful for realizing the optimization, management andcontrol of burden process of copper flash smelting.
