In this dissertation, in order to prepare good performance coated composite powders,superfine aluminum powder and boron powder surfaces were coated by a film of NanoNi-B amorphous alloy by means of electroless planting method. The influence of massconcentration of nickel chloride, potassium borohydride, ethylenediamine, PH, temperatureon relative deposition rate were studied with L16(45) orthogonal test, and the optimizedparameters were obtained. Then the characteristics of the composite powders, including thesurface morphology, the structure and the surface components, were investigated by, SEM,TEM, EDS and XRD. The results indicated that the size of Ni-B amorphous alloy ofpowder surface is 20nm—60nm.Then, by means of grinding coated composite powders and AP together, we got thecomposite powders and used the DTA to analyse the catalytic effect of the Nano-Ni-B/Alcomposite and Nano-Ni-B/B composite on the thermal decomposition of AP. The resultsindicated that Nanometer Ni-B amorphous alloy decreased the second thermaldecomposition temperature of AP by 52.8℃. Nanometer Ni-B amorphous alloy can alsocatalyse the first decomposition of AP.The addition of the Ni-B/Al into the AP/HTPB composite solid propellant enhancesthe burning rate at the ressure of 9MPa by 21.3% and decreases the pressure exponents inthe pressure scopes of 5~10MPa by 31.5%; The addition of the Ni-B/B into the AP/HTPBcomposite solid propellant enhances the burning rate at the ressure of 1.5MPa by 21.3%and decreases the pressure exponents in the pressure scopes of 0.5~6.5MPa by 6%.
