In this paper the super-fine aphanitic graphite powder was obtained by utilizingthe wet stirred mill, and the optimum technological super-fine condition wereaffirmed. The stirred product's processing condition of wet surfacemodification was also affirmed based on appraising method of applied result.The testing result of the aphanitic graphite/nature rubber composite indicatethat the modified aphanitic graphite powder can probably replace the carbonblack. The results of this paper are listed as following:1. On the bases of conditional experiments, technological parameters duringthe preparation of ultra-fine aphanitic graphite powders by wet stirred millwere studied, and the optimum experiment parameters are as follow: startpulp density 35%; size of alumina ball (3~1mm); ratio of medium to material15; ratio of dispersant to material 5%; stirred rotation speed 900r/min.2. The surface modification condition was established according to the resultsof composite's testing result: temperature 25℃; pulp density 10% andratio of modifying agents 1%.3. The producing method of the aphanitic graphite/nature rubber composite hasborrowed from carbon black/nature rubber composite's producing method innation standard, but aimed to the surface modified graphite, vulcanizationtime was changed from 30min to 40min.4. The effect of surface modification was appraised by composite's mechanicalcapability. This appraising method of applied result is more authentic thanDr-appraisal method.5. The composite's TEM picture showed us that the surface modified graphitepowder is well combined with rubber, and the transition of brim is glossy.
