The buried steel pipeline is the main transmission carrier of oil and natural gas , but the corrosion of pipelines has created the serious economic loss for the oil-gas field and the country. The adoption and construction quality of external-corrosion prevention technology directly relates with the safe operation and service life for the pipeline. Because the pipeline passes through the area that the terrain is complex, the soil nature differ in thousands way, the buried steel pipeline need to adopt different external-corrosion prevention technology. Main characteristic of development of the pipeline external-corrosion prevention technology is the high performance, the composite, the long life-span and the economical. Therefore the research of external-corrosion prevention technology for the buried steel pipeline and integrated evaluation for external-corrosion prevention project is extremely significance.The main purpose of this article is selectig best external-corrosion prevention technology and heightening the economic benefit, the technical benefit and the social benefit of the oil-gas field.This article embarks from the external corrosion mechanism fistly, earnest researches each external-corrosion prevention technology and the integrated evaluation of external-corrosion prevention project, mainly has done following work:(1) This article has studied the corrosion mechanism of steel pipeline and carried on the analysis to the corrosion reason.(2)This article has carefully researched and analysed the performance and price of bitumen coating, coal tar coating (CTE), fusion bonded epoxy power coating (FBE), polyethylene tap and three structure polyolefine (3PE), discovered overall performance quite of three structure polyolefine (3PE) is best, from the scene to look, uses 3PE to be also many.(3) This article has introducd the composition, system performance of polyethylene tap and three structure polyolefine and the selection rule of joint coating material.(4) This article has take the integrated evaluation for external-corrosion prevention of steel pipeline, established the evaluation index system, and earnest annotate some index such as insulation resistivity of external-corrosion prevention layer, edaphic causticity, corrosive damnification of pipeline body, DC interference sacrificial anode protection.(5) This article has established the evaluation index system of selecting external-corrosion prevention layer scheme, adopted "feasibility", "degree of satisfaction" and the integrated evaluation model of external-corrosion prevention layer scheme. (6) This article has take some local pipeline as the example, selected the integrated evaluation model on the basis of external-corrosion prevention layer scheme, compare relative merits of three structure polyolefine (3PE), fusion bonded epoxy power coating (FBE), bitumen coating, coal tar coating (CTE). Looked from the comparison result that, three PE polyethylene belong to the preferred plan.
