The corrosion of natural gas pipeline is an important problem in the process of purification plant. With the increase of operation time, the leakage caused by corrosion of equipment often occurs, which seriously affects the operation during production. In this paper, the corrosion of gas pipeline in Chongqing area has been studied and analyzed. Finally we put forward the corrosion protection program specific to the Chongqing purification plant raw material gas pipeline. The main research contents are as follows:1?The corrosion conditions of Chongqing purification plant were studied. Raw material gas composition was complex. The main corrosive medium contained CO2 and H2S. H2S mass concentration reached to 30-90g/m3, CO2 mass concentration reached to 50-140g/m3. In addition there were many other impurities. The corrosion mechanism was complex. And the corrosive parts of the pipeline often happened at the bottom.2?Crack evaluation, physical and chemical analysis and corrosion product testing were carried out for the samples. Corrosion products were mainly FeS, Fe ?1-x? S, Fe3S4 and other iron sulfides, with a small amount of iron oxide. The main factors of corrosion were hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. The hydrogen atoms induced into metal and crystal inclusions in enrichment resulted in cracking material.3?Water samples were analyzed, and corrosion rate were compared between pipeline corrosion samples and non corrosion samples, and effectiveness analysis of CO2, H2S temperature and pressure on corrosion rate respectively, and evaluation of hydrogen induced cracking was analyzed. CO2, H2Swere the main factors of raw gas pipe line corrosion.4?Study on anticorrosion measures of raw material trachea line in purification plant.1)Evaluation and analysis of coating performance.4 kinds of coating types were selected and evaluated in the laboratory, including coating thickness, hardness, adhesion, impact resistance, salt spray resistance. The most suitable one for the raw gas filter separator in Chongqing area was ATP coating. Four kinds of coating were studied by field tests, its results were compared with the laboratory experimental results. It is indicated that the performance of ATP coating was the best, that the results were consistent with the experimental results. The research results provided valuable corrosion protection theory and experience supports for the purification plant material separator equipment in other areas.2) Analysis on performance evaluation of corrosion inhibitor. In this paper, the performance of corrosion inhibitor was evaluated and analyzed in the laboratory, and the corrosion inhibitor injecting process was studied. The CT2-19 inhibitor was selected for the best comprehensive performance in the fields test.
