With the development of people's living standard, they focus on their health and environment. As a fiber made from natural glucide, such as corn, beet, PLA has been become the new kind of fiber with good properties of bio-compatibility, degradability, excellent wicking and uvioresistant. Meanwhile, with people paying more attention to clothing comfort, especially those textiles with good conformance of transferring humid, it is an issue that how to develop friendly environmental and excellent the performance of transferring humid textiles in new textile materials. This paper mostly aims at discussing the performance of transferring humid of PLA fiber and textiles, through analysis, suitable apiece basic structure parameters of PLA fabrics has been found and wet-absorb and fast-dry textiles has been successfully developed.Firstly, structure and performance of PLA fiber have been tested and analyzed. What's more, it has discussed absorb and release humidity property, wettability property. It shows that wet permeability of PLA fiber is unsatisfactory while speed of wet dissipation is fast and it has good wettability moisture conductivity due to larger surface energy.Secondly, it has researched the performance of transferring humid deeply. 54 pieces of PLA weaving fabric, PLA/cotton and PLA/cotton intertexture fabric with different structure parameters have been weaved by 14.5tex PLA yarn, PLA/cotton (50/50) blending yarn and cotton yarn. Properties, such as, wet permeability. air permeability, wettability property, moisture conductivity, wet dissipation have been tested and discussed relation of the performance of transferring humid between textile materials and apiece basic structure parameters(tightness,thickness weight, etc)respectively.Finally, it has found the influence of apiece basic structure parameters on theperformance of transferring humid index by grey relational grade analysis. Besides, PLA fabrics with wet-absorb and fast-dry property has been developed.
