Cone dyeing and beam dyeing surely have a bunch of advantages, but dyeing quality problems are easy to emerge when the equipment are not appropriately chosen, the dyeing chemicals and auxiliaries are not scientifically adopted and that the formulations are not reasonably designed. All these situations happen especially because the cone yarn and beam yarn to be dyed are compactly wounded up together in a certain density on the cone and the beam, thus the inside-outside shading problems are easy to emerge and a worse batch chromatic aberration problems are to arise. Energy like water and electricity are consumed substantially because the time-consuming process of dyeing and after-treating.Tiange Co., Ltd was built in the 1980s. The original primary dyeing method we took was hank dyeing, and the dyestuffs we adopted are vat dyes and low-temp reactive dyes. Our customers are mainly domestic and foreign trade middlemen, and the required quality of our products is of low quality. With the skyrocketing development of our company in the recent 1990s, we are turning toward to some middle and top class overseas customers. The required quality of our products are getting stricter than before, and the aboriginal hank dyeing method even the dyestuffs we once adopted cannot meet the needs of our customers gradually. Based on these facts, Tiange began to introduce cone dyeing and beam dyeing method and use more advanced vat dyes and middle-temp and high-temp reactive dyes produced by famous overseas dyestuff manufacturers to improve the yarn dyeing quality and upgrade the class of our products.But during the mass production by adopting these new techniques, lots ofunexpected quality problems arose. Problems concentrated primarily in dyeing producibility, level dyeing, inside-outside shading and dyeing water usage cannot be solved effectively, which gradually became some bottlenecks and severely hindered further development our company. Therefore, the investigation and research of the cone and beam dyeing formulations are of significant importance to Tiange Co,. ltd.We have investigated the cone dyeing and beam dyeing formulation by using regular equipment in our company in combination with our current dyeing formulation in the following aspects: ways to elevate FPY(First Pass Yield), methods to bring down the inside-outside shading problems, means to lower the dyeing water consumption. By renewedly sifting dyeing chemicals, auxiliaries and optimizing dyeing formulation systematically, we are trying to find out the optimal data to ascertain the best formulation process accordingly so as to provide theory support for our mass production and enhance the comprehensive cone and beam dyeing capability and also improve the yarn quality being dyed.
