Fabric design re-creation is one of the important means in fashion design areas. As people'saesthetic and consumption concept change, the clothing brand competition intensifies, and fabricbecoming more important in apparel product development. Therefore, the development of fabricsre-creation design has good value and prospects in the future.This thesis discussed the necessity to set up teaching courses for fabrics re-creation design thougha comprehensive analysis in market demand, commercial value and industry development. Itconducted a specific study in setting fabrics re-creation design courses such as curriculum,teaching mode, teaching theory and evaluation. The main research contents of this thesis arecomposed of four parts:Firstly, this thesis discussed the background of fabrics re-creation design base on the consumerpsychology, market demand and industry development.Secondly, it discussed the necessity of setting fabrics re-creation design courses though acomprehensive analyses of the limitations of the existing textile products, the commercial valueand the research status of fabrics re-creation.Thirdly, the study had introduced theoretical systems in three different areas such as teachingcontents design, creative thinking model and design methods, and then the detailed information onhow to link up these theoretical systems with the fabrics re-creation design courses. And then, theroles and inter-influences of the theoretical systems in teaching content design are discussed.Lastly, this study displayed many photos and teaching examples to demonstrate the feasibility andeffectiveness of the fabrics re-creation design courses.This thesis is an in-depth, systematic exploration in researching how teaching adapts the moderndesign concepts and it is practical application. The author proposed many ideas and methods inteaching practice and theory, these certainly have reference value and guiding significance.
