There are many large-scale open-pit mine which occupics capacious in our country, and its slope height will come to 300m~500m ordinarily. With the advancement of excavation, the slope height increases taller and taller, and the difficulty of open-dit slope stability and the probability of breakage becomes bigger for serious conditions of production. so the determination of slope angle and the analysis of stability and slope reinforcement are importment , and the stability of open-dit slope turns into a special research problem.The reseach premises slope stability with getting dynamic displacement characters, geological mechanical model and its process of evolvement .however, geological model of open-pit slope is asslciated , as by the rock mass structure and geological structure especially. The engineering geologic and structure conditions, mechanical model,the mechanism of breakage are hold by and large . The model of idiographic engineering geology is put forwarded in the open-pit.At base of above-mentioned study, the excavation process and stability of slope are analysed with non-linear limit element method. Getting out the open-pit slope remains the state of limit-balancing. The stability of slope brings huge potential safety hazard to later period mine exploitation. In order to ensuring late period safety exploitation and stability of finall slope, Aiming at stability of finally slope ,puting forward to the sensible method of prevention and cure.
