In this dissertation, the microstructures and properties of three grades of solution styrene-butadiene rubber(SSBR) were studied and characterized by means of ~1H-NMR,GPC,DSC,TG-DTA and other modern characteristic methods. Then, blending of NR and a new grade of SSBR(C) trial produced by Yanshan Petrochemical Company was studied systematically, including influence of blending ratio of SSBR/NR on the properties of SSBR/NR vulcanizates. Properties of blending vulcanizates of four grades of SBR and NR were also studied and compared systematically. It was discovered that the content of every unit in chain of molecule was moderate in SSBR(C), compared with SSBR(A) and SSBR(B),and its molecular weight had a special distribution of three peaks;blending SSBR(C) and NR could not only improve thermal oxidative aging resistance,abrasion resistance,fatigue resistance and dynamic mechanical properties of NR compound, making blend achieve a perfect balance of high anti-slippery property and low rolling resistance, but also improve the processing property and ozone aging resistance of SSBR(C) compound; compared with SSBR(A)/NR and SSBR(B)/NR, SSBR(C)/NR blending vulcanizate was superior in tensile property,thermal oxidative aging resistance and dynamic mechanical properties. Especially, SSBR(C)/NR composite could obviously improve anti-slippery property and reduce rolling resistance of NR compound, making them achieve a better balance; compared with ESBR(E)/NR, SSBR(C)/NR composite was better in tensile property,thermal oxidative aging resistance and dynamic mechanical properties, especially in anti-slippery property.
