As a new type of emerging environmental pollutants PPCPs(Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products ) have been primary pollution source of aquatic ecosystems and attracting more attention for its stress on aquatic environment. At present, most of research focus on the pharmaceuticals of PPCPs .However, as a important part of PPCPs,very little was known on the ecotoxicity of PCPs(Personal Care Products) . So it was significance to study the ecotoxicity of PCPs in the environment. This study will help to provide the theoretical bases to the ecological risk assessments in the environment, and help to fully mater the environmental impact of PCPs.Based on the acute toxicity test,Ecotoxicological effects of Liushen (a salable bath lotions in market) on daphnia magna ,Nereis diversicolor and Triticum aestivum were evaluated using the chronic test and antioxidant defense system detection .In order to reveal the toxic mechanisms in the organisms induced by the pollutants on the molecular level, through making clear the interrelationship between the pollutants and the antioxidant defense, studying deeply the oxidative stress and its mechanisms induced by the pollutants. Finally it will be more meaningful to forecast early damage to organisms induced by contamination. The main results were as below:1. The 24 h LC50 and EC50 values of bath lotion were 96.76 and 81.72 mg/L。There were significantly positive correlations between the lethal and inhibitory effects of the chemicals on daphnia magna and their concentrations, and the toxicity became higher as the exposure time increased. The chronic and recovery test shows that the bath lotion has some impacts on the reproduction of daphnia magna and its offsprings at difference concentration level. Activities of SOD and CAT increased at the level of 0.025mg/L,whereas in the concentration of 50 mg/L,the activities of SOD and CAT were strongly inhibited and induced independently. The results indicated that PPCPs may have potential ecotoxicity on aquatic environment.2.The SOD and CAT activity were increase at low concentration and decrease as the concentration became higher .At dosage of 50mg/L ,the activity of SOD and CAT were induced maximal.Between 0.05mg/L and 200mg/L, the activity of acetylcholinesterase(AChE) were inhibited stronger as the concentration increase .Altered the exposure time, at dosage of 50mg/L, the activity of AChE and CAT were significant decrease, whereas the SOD were increase.3. When the concentration higher than 250mg/L,seed germination and root elongation began to be inhibited .Exposure to bath lotion for 2days and 6 days , antioxidant defense systems (SOD,CAT,POD,APX)in the embryos and the leaves of Triticum aestivum were altered at the concentration of 0.025mg/L,and the changes shows some laws. The chlorophyll content also very sensitive to the effect of bath lotion. These index could be used as good indicators of bath lotion pollution.
