In this paper the woven cotton towel was treated by the enzyme process and the mechanism was studied. The enzyme activeness and the technological parameters under the acidic and alkalic were tested. The L9(34) orthogonal experiment was applied for the experiment. In this orthogonal model, the whitness and the capillary effect of the cotton towel were tested as the target parameters, and pH, temperature, proceesing time and concentration were factors. The rule of the factors effect on whitness and the capillary effect of the cotton towel were discussed. The results showed as follows:1. The Primafastr100 biological enzyme was used in this article. The surface filoplume onwoven cotton towel fabric was removed after processed by the enzyme.2. The white content and the capillary effect of the cotton fabric were effected greatly bythe temperature and concentration of the enzyme.3. The the one-bath of enzyme and oxygen bleaching treatment has less processing steps than strong acid and alkali treatment, and less water pollution for the environment.All the technical targets of the woven cotton towel fabric processed by one-bath of enzyme and oxygen bleaching treatment were better than FZ/T62006-2004 standard.
