Devoted to the theoretic significance and the applications,studies on the biology function of the single or mixed ligands complexes have been of great interest in recent years. In this paper,the syntheses,charactrization and DNA binding properties of single or mixed ligands complexes of hydrazone ligands have been investigated.1.Synthesis.In mixed solution of DMF-ethanol,seven novel transition metal(Ni,Zn, Cd,Cu,Co,Ag,Mn) complexes with 2'-(4-dimethylaminobenzylidene) -2-hydroxybenzoylhydrazide(C16H17N3O2,H2L1) have been synthesized,and the single crystal of Ni and Cu complexes have been obtained.and two complexes containing N-(2-propionic acid)-salicyloyl hydrazone(C10H10N2O4,H3L2) have been synthesized and the single crystal of the two complexs have been obtained.Ten new rare earth complexes containing 2, 6-pyridine dicarboxylic acid(H2PDA) and N-(2-acetic acid)-salicyloyl hydrazone(C9H8N2O4, H3L3) have been synthesized.2.Characterization.The properties of these complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses,IR,UV-Vis,Fluorescence spectrum,X-ray powder diffraction and TG-DTG..The crystal structures have been determined by X-ray single crystal diffractometer3.Property measurement.DNA binding mechanisms of the complexes are investigated by UV-Vis spectrum and Fluorescence spectrum analysis.
