Chlorine Dioxide is a better disinfectant which will displace chlorine. Since raw material is very cheap and relatively safe, and reaction technology is very simple and easy to control,R5 technique is extensively used, but the yield of Chlorine Dioxide is very low and the reaction rate is slow. Based on the research of scholars, microwave can improve the yield of chemical reaction and reaction rate, so this research used two heating way--conventional heating and microwave heating, meanwhile compare the yield of Chlorine Dioxide and reaction kinetic parameters on this two conditions, which can give some reference to improve the R5 technique.This paper measured Chlorine Dioxide reaction kinetic parameters on conventional heating using static sampling; and using dynamic sampling and the yield of Chlorine Dioxide on different reaction conditions. Meanwhile, this paper measured Chlorine Dioxide reaction kinetic parameters on microwave heating using static sampling and the yield of Chlorine Dioxide on different reaction conditions; Meanwhile, this paper measured Chlorine Dioxide reaction kinetic parameters on microwave heating using dynamic sampling and the yield of Chlorine Dioxide on different reaction conditions. Comparing with the data on conventional heating and the microwave heating, we can draw the following conclusions:1) On the condition of static sampling, reaction order based on conventional heating is lower than the data based on microwave heating, and reaction rate constant based on conventional heating is higher than the data based on microwave heating, and activation energy is lower than the data based on microwave heating. This means microwave can't improve reaction rate on the condition of static sampling; 2)On the condition of dynamic sampling, activation energy is negative on conventional heating; while on the condition of microwave heating the concentration of perchloric acid root is higher and then lower at last higher at the length of reaction time,so the activation energy cann't be measured..3) On the condition of dynamic sampling, the yield of Chlorine Dioxide can reach up to 50% using microwave heating, while lower than 50% using conventional heating.This means microwave can improve the yield of Chlorine Dioxide,while is very helpful for improving the R5 technique .4) On the condition of microwave heating, the yield of at different reaction conditions is the most at time of 30-40 min and at the temperature of 40-50℃, which is very useful for industial producing.
