Isoprene-isobutylene rubber(IIR) is the world’s fourth largest synthetic rubber,Its excellent air tightness,damping and low temperature resistance and chemical stability make it in the tire industry,the field of medicine,as well as damping materials have important applications,especially for tire inner tube,high-performance tire inner liner. However,because of its high saturated and non-polarity,which greatly limit its vulcanizing properties and co-vulcanization with other rubbers.Enhances the curing speed and improvement co-vulcanization performance with other rubbers,is carries on one of modified important topics to it.Through the halogenate,the sulphonation, branching methods and so on maleic anhydride improves its curing and the co-vulcanization performance,and the halogenate modification application is most widespread.However while the halogenate modification improves the curing and co-vulcanization performance of IIR will corrodes seriously to the halogenate equipment,and will reduce the IIR molecular weight obviously in the halogenate process,And,this technical only controlled by minority overseas company and they have no willing to transfer。In this paper,we use ontology and solution method to prepared a variety of modified butyl rubber,and we make a more depth research to vulcanization characteristics and mechanical properties of FVIIRThis issue using reactive processing technology and the solution method use NaBH4、NaH、Na as modifier M1 and use maleic anhydride,cinnamic aldehyde as modifier M2 grafted a polar group to the polymer main chain which can prepared a series of Fast curing butyl rubber.Because the polymer member increased many polar groups,has increased the original polymer polarity,thus increased the butyl rubber the compatibility which and uses with other rubbers.Simultaneously on principal chain polar group,in did not affect the mechanical properties under the premise also to promote the butyl rubber curing response.The structure of FVIIR was characterized by 1H-NMR,13C-NMR,FT-IR.And TG has analyzed the microscopic structure of FVIIR.In this paper also inspected the influence of modifier type,the amount used,the allocated proportion,the reaction time and the temperature to the FVIIR curing performance.And the influence of NR amount to the curing performance and the physical mechanical property in NR/IIR and NR/FVIIR blend.
