The New Blowing-carding The Feed Hopper Development

In the present developing trend of the textile machineries,the blowing carding is an inevitable process,and the feeding hopper,which plays connective functions,takes important roles during the process of blowing carding.The sliver unevenness was effected by the irregularity of the bat,which was fed into the carding machinery through the feeding hopper of the blowing-carding unit.The unevenness of the bat was caused by the structure and process of the feeding hopper.Therefore,how to modify and optimize the structure and process of the feeding hopper,then improve the uniformity of the bat to the maximum extent,was a problem which needed solved urgently.The developing course and the research status home and abroad of the feeding hopper of the blowing-carding unit were introduced in this paper.The structure and process of the feeding hopper were analyzed in detail.After the comparison and analysis of the structures of the feeding hopper home and abroad,the merits and demerits of each unit,the adjustments range of process parameters in actual production were pointed out.The process of impurity removal was introduced on the base of the principal of impurity removal in carding machinery.The design scheme of impurity removal mechanism of the feeding hopper was confirmed through the comparison with the mechanism in carding machinery.This design scheme is one of the innovative points.The developing direction and concrete design scheme were put forward on the basis of comprehensive analysis.This scheme met the demand for high quality and high yield,meanwhile,it solved or avoided the ubiquitous problems during the daily application,such as adhering,winding,hanging,blocking,leaking.The prototype was manufactured successfully in order to verify the rationality of the structure of the new type of feeding hopper.Relevant experiments were carried out and the results showed that the prototype was in accordance with the design requirements.Finally,the improvement of the serial performance and the satisfaction for high efficient and short process were pointed out from the angle of the whole production line of blowing-carding.The prospects of the new type of feeding hopper is wide.
