As a different new superfine mechanism discharge technology from traditional way, EDM technology has found its wide applications in new and high maching technology industry such as molding tool industry,aviation manufacturing industry and vehicle manufacturing industry. It has reached a conclusion from history experience, that is: the industrialization level of nation is to a large extent decided by the level of manufacturing industry, but the level of manufacturing industry has to a large extent level of be decided by the technology and equipment, its main present including precision and automation. So on a certain degree we can say: The level of the precise manufacturing industry of a nation represented the industrialization level of that country. In a word,, the high efficiently research studies of EDM not only cried for currently, but also bring good result to advance national industry technology in the future.In this paper, the micro-hole maching process of high-temperature alloy have been used as a research object, pay attention to the self-adaptive control process such as on-linely examine, on-linely identify, real-time respond, actively absorb the academic thought of related academics, aim at provide a way of thinking for the superfine, efficiently of EDM at the state of unmanned.There are four main content as follow:[1] In the view of the control porblem of the stochasitc, non-linear mulit-parameters and timevaryingt system just as in the EDM process.ap pilcaiton studies of in telilgent control in the EDM processare developed with the help of the flourishing theory and technology of intelligent control.[2] The control problems in the EDM processare analyzed in detail and the detecting methods of EDM discharge-state are probed-into installed a equipment to detect the discharge pulse volt of every discharge-state threshold value that oferrs a front supporting technology of intelligent control tactics implementation in the EDM process.[3] Through the former two items results and according to the requirement of discharge and technics, based on the equipments of lab self-manufacture a self-adaptive EDM equipment.[4] Depend on the self-manufacture a self-adaptive EDM equipment validate experiment results.Discharge two micro-holes in the high-temperture alloy which diameter were 1.5mm and 2.0mm, compared with the roughness,roundness and degree of surface morphology between EDM self-adapt fuzzy PID control system and cycle feeding control system on machining the two holes, Proved that experiment obtained a decent result.
