Wet ball mill grinding is the main equipment of ore grinding operation. Ball mill liner is not only weak to bear the corrosion of copper slurry wear,but also bear the impact of wear and tear by ball. The conditions of service are very harsh. So this part is a major component of wear and tear and traditional anti-wear materials have been far from enough to meet the requirements.In this paper, based on the failure analysis of a used concentrator mill lining, the author studied the corrosion mechanism of wear-resistant chromium steel and manganese steel at different chromium and manganese contents in the subacidity medium- rich of Cu2+ by simulating the actual working conditions of copper ore, using the corrosion-wear interaction theory, combining the sample analysis of scanning electron microscopy morphology and measuring under static corrosion rate of mass loss,potential - time curve, anodic polarization curves, macro, micro-corrosion morphology; Under the conditions of dynamic impact of corrosion and wear testing, wear testing and corrosion, the author studied the total amount of corrosion and wear, the promotion of wear and tear to corrosion, corrosion-wear interaction and corrosion-wear mechanism. The author developed an excellent corrosion-wear resistance wet ball mill liner material used in subacidity medium.
