The influence of working methods and heat treatment condition on the strength,electrical conductivity and microstructure of Cu-Cr-Zr alloy was investigated by hardness test,tensi le,electrical resistance test, optical microscopy,XRD,SEM,and TEM.Meanwhile,the mechanism of the influence was discussed.The results show that:(1) Cu-Cr-Zr alloy can get high strength by solution—aging treatment.The strength of the alloy achieve the peak after aged in 490℃for 240 minutes.The Brinell Hardness,electrical conductivity,tensile strength and Yield Strength were 108HB,90.0%IACS,423MPa,354MPa respectively.(2) Solution—cold-drawing—aging(Thermomechanical treatment) can increase strength of the alloy significantly.The best homogenization treatment of Cu-Cr-Zr alloy is aging at 450℃for 240min by 70% cold-rolling after solution 980 for 60min.The Brinell Hardness,electrical conductivity,tensile strength and Yield Strength is 153HB,85.1%IACS, 529MPa,489MPa respectively.(3) Solution—aging—cold-drawing can increase alloys' strength greatly.Electrical conductivity can reach a high level by annealing after solution—aging—cold-drawing.Annealing at 510℃for 60min,the Brinell Hardness,electrical conductivity,tensile strength and Yield Strength is 141HB,86.6%IACS,519MPa,475MPa respectively.(4) The fine precipitates,formed in the decomposition of the supersaturated solid solution,result in distinct increase in the properties of the alloy.Two kinds of particles are observed after different aging treatments:coarse Cr particles and dispersion precipitate particles. Dispersion precipitate particles appear to be coherent.The precipitate particles are fine and small amount aged under lower temperature.As the temperature rising,the precipitations are coarse significantly,and lost coherent relationship.(4) The high strength and high conductivity of alloy can be explained by coherent strengthening mechanism and model of conductive unit body.
