Digital Copiers Scan Imaging And Data Processing Unit

Nowadays, digital copier has become a necessary set of equipment . However, our copier's technology is still not mature, copier industry further develops and breaks through, only just depends on ourselves, by a larger number of devotion and our own studying, creating. This paper is mainly about the study on scanning, imaging and data processing unit of the digital copier.In order to build hardware and software system of digital copier's scanning,imaging and data processing unit, this paper studies the exposure and scanning mechanism, CCD driver, high-speed A/D acquisition, the design of FIFO module based on FPGA, the overall control of ARM, USB data transfer and image processing technology etc.Through analyzing the structure of exposure scanning unit, optical path of the scanning mechanism, the drive mechanism of step motor,the suitable step motor and corresponding drive chip are chosen, and system gets steady step output. This paper chooses FPGA to control CCD driver, then the simulation waveform and the actual waveform can testify that FPGA can successfully complete CCD driver. At the same time, paper also uses FPGA to design the FIFO module for caching digital signal. According to the characteristic of CCD output signal, in order to ensure the completion of high-speed image signal acquisition and transmission, the system chooses the right high-speed A/D acquisition circuit and selects USB bus to transmit image data. Finally, this paper uses mixed programming with VB and MATLAB technology to simplify the difficulty of image processing, and designs an application software to display and process image. The ARM successfully completes controlling and coordinating of the entire system. Through the designing of the above aspects, I finally accomplished this system's designing and testing.
