Ammonia nitrogen is one of the main contamination has seriously jeopardized the water environment, that cause eutrophic state—red tide phenomenon. In order to remove the water of ammonia, to find the best treatment process, through the study of low concentration of ammonia-nitrogen wastewater by industrial, a series of experienent was used to reduce the water pressure on the environment after their release. Studies by various processing methods, the choice determined by ion-exchange adsorption method was choiced as the final approach. Screening for adsorption materials, screening for adsorption materiels, the best adsorbent of zeolite was selected by the results of the screening test analysis of the adsorbent static test, in order to increase the adsorption capacity of zeolite, the producing area and the modification of screening test method studied, and the instrument characterization tests proved with the use of experimental study of the laws of zeolite column to remove ammonia, the kinetic theory was discussed through the establishment of model devices. The content and results of the thesis show that:In the zeolite, alumina, cinder, activated carbon, silica, kaolin, diatomite seven kinds of absorbing materials in the initial screening, zeolite, alumina and cinder three pairs of better ammonia adsorption of adsorbent were selected. To continue screening, calculated based on adsorption isotherm, their maximum adsorption amount of were12.39 mg·g-1,1.69 mg·g-1,2.16 mg·g-1. By analysing the zeolite which come from the Henan Gongyi and Zhejiang Jinyun, The results show that Jinyun zeolite adsorption capacity is greater than Gongyi's, and the two zeolites have a faster reaction rate, the characteristics of adaptability. The modification of natural zeolite, modified after the use of roasting by static test, microwave, acid, salt, and integrated heat. Results show that the modification would help increase the ammonia adsorption capacity of zeolite and the integrated heart show that the best among the six kinds of modification methods. The establishment of zeolite adsorption column simulation of dynamic tests found that as the hydraulic loading decreases, reaches its breakthrough point can handle more water, and results showed that by 8% NaCl solution as desorption regeneration fluid is good with low cost. zeolite on dynamic testing meet lagergren a rate equation and the second-order rate equation, the results shouthat the adsorption rate on was best ammonia nitrogen with zeolite.The results show that zeolite is ion-exchange deal with the ideal of ammonia adsorbed material, meanwhile, the easily noticeed effect on the removal shows in the industry. Especially in the tungsten and rare earth smelting the depth of processing recycled waste water reused of ammonium, was a good prospect of engineering application.
