In this dissertation, the microstructures and properties of three kinds of high flowability polypropylene M#,AP03B,M1600 from home and abroad were studied and characterized by means of TGA,FTIR,GPC,WAXD,DSC,SEM and other modern characteristic methods. Then, M# was modified by WBG (rare earths nucleating agent) and NA-21 (organic phosphate nucleating agent). The influence of different contents of nucleating agents on crystalline morphology, crystallization properties and mechanical properties were studied. The modified M# samples were also compared with the abroad samples AP03B and M1600 in the fields of mechanic properties, rheologic properties, melting crystallization properties, the results indicate:Compared with AP03B and M1600, M# is better in yield strength, elasticity modulus and higher in elongation at break, but weaker in impact strength.WBG can induce formation ofβcrystal in M# effectively, increase crystallization temperature and crystallinity, and improve the impact strength in normal temperature and elongation at break of M# obviously. When the WBG content in M# is 0.2%, the impact strength in normal temperature of M# reaches peak value and exceeds these properties of M1600.While, NA-21 can induce formation of a crystal in M# effectively, reduce the difficulty of crystallization, accelerate crystallization process, and increase crystallization temperature and crystallinity. NA-21 can not only improve the elongation and bend properties of M#, but also increase the impact strength in normal temperature of M# obviously. When the NA-21 content in M# is 0.2%, the yield strength, bend strength, elasticity modulus, and flexural modulus reach the peak values, and far exceed these properties of abroad samples AP03B and M1600. The overall results demonstrate NA-21 is better than WBG in modifying M#.
