More than three thousands tons of castings are produced every year in China, the economic loss per year is a great number, because of the rejection of general cast iron. To make up the casting defects and improve the pass rate of products, the scientific defect repair becomes an economical and effective way.For its excellent repairing performance, stable, economic and simple process, the cold fusion at room temperature technology is gradually being used widely. However, in the lack of national standards and related industry standards, more and more legal lawsuit issues come out in this industry. The gray cast iron and ductile cast iron take up most of the castings, and this article will focus on their flows, to research the standard of the cold fusion at room temperature technology.This article aims to the key links of the cold fusion at room temperature technology operations, combining with the three kinds of filling material selected in the experiments and the matrix of HT250 and QT500-7, and focuses on the effect of filling material, equipment parameters on the welding quality, which can be used to establish the technology standard of the cold fusion at room temperature technology that can guide the production process.In the process of the cold fusion at room temperature technology the material goes through rapidly heating and cooling cycling locally, and it will cause large temperature gradient around solder joints. The temperature changes will change the microstructure of material variably, which determine the weld quality and performance. Therefore, using finite element software ANSYS, the thermal field of a technical process in welding is simulated numerically, also analysis of the effect of equipment frequency and an optimization about process parameters in the cold fusion at room temperature technology are presented to provide important theoretical basis for the ultimate establishment of the standards for repairing technology.
