Short cut carbon fiber (simplified as carbon fiber in the paper) was used as high-temperature-resistant sorbent, and glass fiber which contain more silicon-oxygen atoms (simplified as glass fiber in the paper) was used as main high-temperature-resistant materials and microwave matching materials, silicon sol and epoxy modified organosilicane resin (simplified as resin in the paper) were used as two kinds of high-temperature-resistant matrixes for composites, respectively. In this text preparation process research, performance test and analysis of composites were conducted. Fiber materials were scattered firstly, and then mixed together, at last we obtained composites under pressure molding procss. We focus on a series of absorbing properties of composites by experiment and analysis, including that the length of glass fiber; and dispersion, content, length, arrangement of carbon fiber; still thickness and puncture of composites affected the microwave absorbing properties. Meanwhile, the computed reflectivity and measured reflectivity were compared; it show that computed reflectivity reflect absorption properties under a certain condition, which reveals apractical value. That the length of glass fiber does not affect the dielectric properties, but growth of its length can improve mechanical properties; increase the content of carbon fiber of the composites, the real and imaginary part of the dielectric constant increased; with increase the length of carbon fiber of the composites, the frequency effect appears; adding the thickness of the composites, absorption peaks move to low frequency band, at the same time, appear a double-peak absorbing phenomena; and along with increasing the content of carbon fiber, the thickness of composites reducing for appears a double-peak absorbing phenomena and absorption peak move to low frequency; in composites the level arrangement of carbon fiber have better microwave absorption performance than the vertical arrangement. Finally, insulation and tensile properties of composites was measured. Further, the study was extended to understand the relationship between density of composites and their insulation performance. For mechanics, the influence of the length of glass fiber and various substrate materials on tensile properties was investigated.
