The research prepared the hollow carbon fiber from mesophase pitch in different carbonization temperature by micro-type spinning device. The tensile strength was tested by all-purpose mechanical tester, and the section of as-prepared hollow carbon fiber was characterized by SEM. The effects of carbonization temperature on the electromagnetic performance of hollow carbon fiber were studied by the vector net analysis system. We studied influence of arranged style of carbon fiber on absorbing properties of composites. The reflectivity was tested by bow testing system.The result showed that the carbonated temperature affect the electromagnetic parameters of hollow carbon fiber heavily. The dielectric constant and the magnetic conduct rate were lower when carbonated temperature below 900℃, but the dielectric constant and magnetic conduct rate were boosted when carbonated temperature was above 900℃. The tangent of dielectric constant's real part and imaginary part was augmented with the elevator of incident frequency. The tande and tandμwas in low levele when the carbonated temperature below 850℃, and the tandμand tande of which carbonate temperature was above 900℃were boosted evidently. The absorbing properties of carbon fiber which single-orientation parallel arranged has evident anisotropy. The energy loss was -5db in vertical polar orientation; the max energy loss was -20db in parallel polar orientation. The width of absorbing frequency that energy loss was below -10db exceeded 9GHz. The width of absorbing frequency of intersect composite was 10GHz that energy loss was below -10db, and max energy loss was -25dB.
