Polyaniline(PANI) was synthesized by oxidative polymerization with ammonium persulfate(APS) as oxidant, aniline and hydrochloric acid as raw material. The PANI composite materials were synthesized by in-situ polymerization.The micro-morphology and micro-structure of PANI and PANI composite materials were characterized by SEM, XRD etc., while the effect of polymerization conditions on micro-morphology and micro-structure of PANI were studied. Capacitive performance of PANI and PANI composite electrode materials are investigated by cyclic voltammetry(CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Therefore, the best polymerization condition and the optimum composition of PANI composite electrode materials are obtained.The single-phase supercapacitors were assembled by using PANI/AC composite electrode materials. Then the hybrid supercapacitors were assembled via Ni(OH)2 as positive electrode materials synthesized by electro-deposition method, PANI composite electrode materials(PANI/AC or PANI/carbon aerogels composite electrode materials) as negative electrode materials. Capacitive performance of various supercapacitors is tested by galvanostatic charge and discharge. And capacitive decay rate, cyclical stability and cycle life are also investigated.
