Heterogeneous semiconduetor photocatalysis is an important technique valuable for solar energy eonvironmental purification.Among various oxide semiconductors, titanium dioxide(TiO2)has been proved to be one of the most suitable potocatalysts for widespread environmental applications because of its strong oxidization, non-toxicity and long-term stability against photo and chemical corrosion. In order to improve the living environment of human being, one of means is using semiconductor TiO2 to decompose contamination, in the 21st century. Currently, the study of the TiO2 photocatalytic materials are powders, or TiO2 thin films attached on glass substrates made by chemical methods. These kinds of materials are hard reclaimed.In this thesis, two kinds of titania nano film were prepared:(1) Titania nanotube arrays film was prepared by anodic oxidation (2)Titania porous film was prepared by microarc oxidation(MAO). X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used to characterize the phase construction and morphology of the surface. The results indicated that the diameter of nanotube was 70-80 nm, the thickness of the wall was 5-10nm and diameter of porous film was 0.2um-lum. the We draw the conclusion that the photocatalytic activity of titania nanotube arrays was best when were heat at 420℃and when pH of solution is 1 by the decolorization of methyl orange in aqueous solution. The relational expression (k=3.28×10-4C0-0.71) between photocatalytic reaction rate constantand and initial concentration of solution was obtained also. We draw the conclusion that the photocatalytic activity of titania porous was best when titanium sheet was oxidized at 350V. The relational expression(k=2.55×10-4C0-0.62) between photocatalytic reaction rate constantand and initial concentration of solution was obtained also.We design solar photocatalytic devices.After ultraviolet lamp irradiate 5.5 hour, degradation rate of methyl orange is 80.6%.
