The paper assays in the rule of dust concentration distribution by mean of theoretical analysis, numerical calculation and experiment study. The charged particles turbulent dispersion mathematic model has been established according to the experiment study of particles concentration fields in ESP. Based the theory of non-steady, deduce the total accumulated charge on dust layer and then the drive speed can be accounted. An expression for turbulent mixing coefficient was theoretically derived with the effect of electric wind subtly introduced into them. And the turbulent mixing coefficient increases as the distance of discharge electrode and collection plate gets larger. The boundary layer theory confirm that the vicinity of collection plate have a laminar boundary layer. Basing on the analysis of charged particle transmission in the laminar boundary layer, the dust concentration on collection plate performance can be used as boundary condition when turbulent mixing diffusion equation is resolved.Particle turbulent mixing diffusion equation of dust collection in non-steady by the finite difference method, construct the difference scheme of transport equation of electrostatic precipitation by SOR iterative method, do digital simulation by Matlab (a simulation language), disclose the rule of concentration distribution of the dust particle in the course of collecting dust unsteadily in field of electrostatic precipitation, it is shown that dust concentration gradually increases from corona electrode to dust-collected wall inside electrostatic precipitators, and finally get the fractional efficiency derived from the dust concentration distribution.The gap between the simulation and the fact is not obvious.The collecting efficiency of the digital simulation based on the dust collection in unstable state is exact rather than traditional method. This proves that our transport equation is right and the compute method is available.There is a flow of high concentration of dust in the part. closed the dust arresting plate of electrostatic precipitation.A suction opening can be installed in the end of it in order to could inhale the current at a constant speed and purify efficiently. This method can heighten the effect of dust collection. According with the outcome of digital simulation to dust concentration of the exit and the theory of install compulsory and constant speed suction opening in terminal of electrostatic precipitation, which can get the quantitative relation between the height of suction opening and the efficiency of dust removal. The relation will refer to standard a compulsory inhaling flux which is helpful to realize the meeting of discharge limits.
