With the development of economy, people pay more and more attention to energy source problem in current. Meanwhile, a number of different industries take some measures to save power. AC electronic load is power electronic equipment which can complete performance testing of various powers. It can simulate conventional real impendence load, and test the DC power to AC power to complete the utility power system. At the same time, it solves a lot of wasted energy problems in the traditional AC power source burn-in test. There is a novel Z-source network structure in the inverter unit. The power electronic equipment has excellent characteristics, such as lighter and smaller, saving power, the high reliability, the strong antigambling ability, high energy availability and so on.This paper has analyzed the operation principle of electronic load, and established the system which contains AC/DC rectifier and DC/AC inverter. The PWM control technique is described in the thesis. According to the quadrant operation of PWM controller, which is introduced into electronic load to complete control of the ac current and realize the exchange of electronic load function.To improves the performance of the convert and get a steady output voltage. AC/DC rectifier takes advantage of the middle DC link and hysteretic current control strategy. In this system, it is important to design and control the energy feedback unit. This paper uses DC and Z-source network link to structure circuit and the double closed-loop control system. Using the Internet for double closed loop control strategy, improve the grid current waveform and simulation model. In this paper, the operation principle of the VSR and CSR rectifier is introduced and different control mode of PWM rectifier is compared. It also shows the operation principle of inverter Z-source network and its advantage. At last, using the MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation software to constructed model for simulation for the energy feedback AC electronic load, its results has verified the feasibility and correctness of the theoretic method.
