There is an abundant natural gas resource in our country. With the development of the petroleum industry in our country, we have made great progress in the use of natural gas and other manual gas. The level of the natural gas industry not only the stand of our country's national structure of energy source, environmental protection and the city infrastructure, but also show the stronger of our country's economy and the higher of living environmental conditions. Behind the rapid development of the natural gas industry, following it, there are the problems of circulating management and optimizing dispatch. The settle of these problems will be important for supplying natural gas to the users safely and in reason, at the same time, it is also very important for reducing the expenses of the operating and the overhead expenses. But only when the simulating methods are used, the problems above can be solved effectually.The analysis of the natural gas networks have special meaning in the areas of the design, rebuild and expand of the natural gas industry. Therefore, accurate gas networks hydraulic calculation is very important. The hydraulic computation of gas networks got used to traditional differential methods. Such ways need an accurate initial value, also are complicated to use. In this paper, based on the foundation of the analysis of the hydraulic calculation, it primarily introduces the nodal analysis method for balancing calculation of gas networks, at the same time, briefly shows you the other methods.It applies the graph theory to analyze the structure of pipelines in the nodal analysis method, and matrix to describe the relationship among properties of pipelines. Compared with other methods, it is more clearly, simply and convergent rapidly, also it needs an inaccurate initial value. Based on the nodal analysis method, the mathematical model and the simulation software are formed. The calculation results agree well with the given ones.
