Transmission Line Lightning Fault Identification And Location Of New Methods

To identify the fault and the disturbance of transmission line exactly,achieve more precise of fault location will bring great benefits of social and economy.because the traveling wave fault location system doesn't have the bility to identify disturbance of lighting,fault of lighting and common fault of short circuit in transmission line,and common fault locator device can't be able to locate the fault position when the position of lightning strike and flashover are different.Thus,this paper via the basic of Wavelet Transform and Mathematical Morphology, to investigate the disturbance,identify the type of fault and locate the fault from transmission wave in line.It will enrich the method of identifying fault and disturbance in line,at the same time,this paper offer a new method for special fault in line(fault of lightning strike,position of lightning and flashover are different). Main result as follow:1.this paper will introduce the theory of wavelet Transform and Mathematical Morphology firstly, then investgate the characteristic of Wavelet Transform and Mathematical Morphology, and analyse how to eliminate disturbance of singles.2.It has investgated the characteristic of transmission wave in terminal of the line among disturbance of lightning,fault of lightning and common fault of short circuit.consituted the new method of fault identify and lightning disturbance via the basic of The Consistent Coefficient of Waveform。3.It also has investgated the wave energy spectrum when fault of lightning in high voitage transimision line,consituded the method that can identify the different between fault of lightning and commen fault of short circuit via the basic of wavelet entropy,4.It also analysed two identify method's ability of resisting disturbance.via the theory of wavelet Transform and Mathematical Morphology to eliminate the disturbance of sigals,lt increased the possibilty of identifying correctly in serious disturbance enviroment.5.At last,it has introduced the basic theory of traveling wave location,especially analysed the special situation of lightning fault,like flashover didn't happen in the position of lightning which had better insualting capability,but it happened in the position of lightning which had a bad insualting capability,also investgated the current wave characterristics of two terminal bar in this situation,offered anther's criterion.Via PSCAD simulink,this method could identify if the point of lightning and flashover are the same in the fault of lightning,and could locate the position of lightning and flashover when the position of lightning and flashover are different.
