The Humanized Design Of Residential Stilts Landscape

Residential stilts, which derived from the traditional residential buildings and have developed new forms, have positive ecological impact and space efficiency. They also meet with the needs of modern residential environment and public activity space and it has great potential to develop. Modern residential environment is transforming to eco-cultural model. The demand of residents for living environment is changing gradually from meeting the basic physiological needs to catering the psychological, behavioral, cultural areas and much higher levels. The residential stilt is one of the components of residential environment. This paper illustrates how to implement the humanized design concept into residential stilts, which is particular residential environment, and how to create a humanity landscape design model of residential stilts.(1) Literature review shows that the analysis of the site characteristics of residential stilts space mainly from three aspects:space characteristics, functional characteristics, environmental characteristics. Also, the analysis starts from the relationship between people and the environment, and refers to related theory, such as environmental psychology, environment behavior science. The discussion starts from the psychological needs, physiological needs and behavioral needs, and talks about what is the attention of people's needs in residential stilts The analysis concludes the positive factors, which need to be utilized during design, and the negative factors which need to be eliminated, in order to laid a good groundwork for detailed design.(2) The design principles of humanity landscape design in residential stilts were summarized. These principles provide design basis to create humanity residential stilts space. The design principles include four principles:environmental integrity, landscape identification, comfortable uses as well as interaction.Under the guidance of the principle, the author designs humanity residential stilts landscape from the two aspects of space design and elements design, in order to build a design model of humanity residential stilts landscape.(3) The existing use of the humanized stilts landscape in Changsha was investigated. Three buildings which have typical representative of the spatial layout were analyzed from green, interface, sketch and facilities these four aspects of their compliance with human design, in order to explain their deficiency, to suggest recommendation for treatment and to verify and add the design model of humanity residential stilts landscape. Last, the conclusions are demonstrated by the analysis of theYiYang Shangchengshijia stitles landscape design.
