Digital City Park Study

U.S. Vice President Al Gore proposed the concept of "digital earth" in 1998. Since then, various countries and industries proposed digital concepts for themselves, such as Digital China, Digital City, Digital Tourism, Digital scenic spot. "Digital City Park" is put forward based on the needs of urban park's planning and management, protection and development, which is of the extension and expansion of digital scenic spot. "Digital City Park" is both the needs and the inevitable of modern economic and technological development, but also the need for self-development of City Park. Modern information technology combined with traditional city parks, and promote the development of City Park has become the inevitable trend of future development.Although China has a "digital scenic spot" pilot job in 24 scenic areas since 2002, but still in the primary stage, the related theory is also relatively lack, recognized business model has not be formed. Therefore, the research results for digital city park reference are very scarce. This paper presents a concept of "digital city park", and analyses the concept, function, framework, key technology and problems etc. In order to avoid "wear new shoes to walk the old road", paper constructively introduces business process reengineering theory in the digital city park construction process. This paper discusses the relationship between digital city park with business process reengineering, and discusses the methods and steps of business process reengineering. Finally, a kind of digital city park construction solutions based on cloud computing is put forward, which the purpose is to provide a development idea of digital city park construction for those city parks who are poor information infrastructure, shortage of funds, lack of personnel.
