Application Of Spc To Improve Damping And Stability

Shock absorber is one of the six key units to assemble a vehicle, which keeps the vehicle smooth-going, safe-performing and comfortable-traveling. As for shock absorber, damping characteristic is the most important characteristics. Especially damping force controlling with various velocity is one of the problems in this field.This thesis analyzes suspension functions of a vehicle, valve characteristics and working principle of shock absorber and conforming mechanism of damping characteristic. It puts emphasis on researching the damping characteristic and main influential factors of SGM308. In the thesis, full-factorial design is used to match and combine the main factors, in order to improve the qualified rate of production of SGM308.
