In order to adapt to the needs of modern logistics, lorry to further heavy-duty and intensification ,specialization. The working conditions of heavy trucks are often very bad, work in full, long term under impact loading and vibration, and the road condition is poor, turning radius smaller, more curve, more sloping road, and the vehicles frequent turn and braking. To achieve the high quality transport of heavy trucks, it must ensure the good high-speed ride comfort and handling stability. The traditional passive suspension already cannot satisfy the requirements, the advanced controlled semi-active suspension technology will be extensive research and adoption in heavy truckIn order to validate using semi-active air suspension heavy truck have better ride comfort. Taking a heavy truck for tesearch object, a half heavy truck simplified model was built up, and the dynamic differential equations was transformation for the state-space equation, tractor simulation system model was bulit up in Matlab / Simulink software to carry on the control simulation experiment. As the tractor of heavy truck suspension system nonlinear strong characteristic, this paper adopts the fuzzy control and PID control of combining the parameters self-adjusting fuzzy PID control. In the paper, with the same speed in A, B and C three classes road of tractor semi-active air suspension system dynamic performance simulation respectively. In order to improve the efficiency and precision of simulation data analysis, will use Matlab and ADAMS post-processing joint to the processing of data.Through the tractor suspension of heavy truck passive, fuzzy control and fuzzy PID control simulation, we get intuitive time-domain simulation results figure and frequency domain PSD figure, and the simulation experimental data was compared with the RMS and PSD. The results show that: Suspension using the fuzzy PID control smoothness indicators have been greatly improved, especially the centroid acceleration improvement topped 40%, The frequency domain PSD peak also has a greater decline . According to the simulation results of vehicle on B-class road, show that Dynamic load of tires also got obvious improvement, the damaging effects of the road reduced. The paper designed fuzzy PID controllers have feasibility and effectiveness.
