At present as the development of the transportation. The road conditions of truck become more complicated. The truck market require the truck with high qualified vibration reduction and comfortable. The researcher have to take how to improve the ride performance and stability into consider. The truck suspension is one kind of complicated ant-vibration system. It adjust the height of the truck in different working conditions. The suspension can control the multi-DOF motion movement and improve the ride performance and stability of the truck.Based on the theoretical basis and the experieriment results. The Semi-active Suspension was analyzed by simulation.The main job and innovation as follows:(1) In order to verify the improved effect of truck comfortableness. One kind of truck was used as object. And the truck mathematical model was built. The truck model was built and analysed by the MATLAB/Simulink software. In order to improve the truck comfortableness. The control was the sum of PID and Genetic Algorithm. The control used the vertical acceleration as the input source. The control used the relative displacement of the truck body and suspension as constraint condition. Its purpose was to keep the vehicle handing stability and improve the truck comfortableness.(2) The advantage and disadvantages of Genetic Algorithm and PID control strategy were analysed. Some improvements like Gray code, protecting the best individual, accepting immigrations as well as employing adaptive crossover and mutation operators were presented to overcome the slow and premature convergence shortages of Genetic Algorithms. The Improved Genetic Algorithms was applied to Truck Semi-active Suspension.(3) The PID control strategy was optimized in the study of Truck Semi-active Suspension by Genetic Algorithm and Improved Genetic Algorithm, time-domain simulation results figure and frequency-domain PSD figure were got through the simulation analysis of the Truck Semi-active Suspension. The speed and acceleration data of truck and unsprung mass have been improved after we optimized Genetic PID control system. This paper proved that the Improved Genetic Algorithm PID control strategy improved the truck comfortableness. The correctness of the theory can be verified by the road comfortable test of truck.
