In this paper, armor piercing discarding sabot fin-stabilized projectile of small-caliber as the research object, for a new type of the armor piercing projectile penetrate of structure of fragile material, carry through the power and strength calculation and experimental research, and according to the results of calculation to optimize the structure of projectile; on the armor piercing projectile to implement the emission intensity of numerical simulation and structural optimization.In this paper, combining the application numerical simulation of ANSYS—LSDYNA and AUTODYN analysis software and experimental study of the method, built out of fragile material of the armor piercing projectile type of finite element model. For the penetrates was simulated, have simulated penetrates emission intensity, are found by analyzing the intensity of the problem, according to the analysis of strength calculation, employ the structure of the multi- scheme optimization, and finally to design the structure of projectile well positioned to meet the emission intensity. armor piercing projectile for the structure of design and optimization of penetrates provide some reference. On the structure of a multi- scheme optimization and simulation, and the test carried out research on the causes of failure were analyzed. Meanwhile, a large number of experiments carried out for the fragile penetrators done enough preparation for development and equipment.
