It is the inevitable trend of the high-speed trains to Modern transportation, particularly since the sixth speed enhancement in the railway, our country's high-speed train has been developed to a new stage, the most important thing is to use the EMU technology. As the train speed increasing, the traditional shape of the train can not meet the requirement of high-speed trains, and now streamlined shape has been widely used in many countries, the automatic opening/closing mechanism is designed in this train's front cover. When the high-speed train running, the automatic opening/closing mechanism will bear greater aerodynamic. Therefore, it is particularly essential for EMU's automatic opening/closing mechanism to analyze the affordability for air pressure fluctuation. This article takes the aerodynamics as a foundation, uses the numerical simulation calculation to calculate surface pressure of automatic opening/closing mechanism when the CRH3-380A EMU run in open air, in tunnel, cross each other in open air and cross each other in tunnel at the different speed,Then based on the finite element theory, the aerodynamic is considered as calculated load which is loaded to the finite element model of automatic opening/closing mechanism, then, the structural strength is analyzed. Finally, the article introduces the static loading experiment, and then, the method of numerical calculation is validated by comparison with static loading experiment. It is believed that the results of the research provide scientific and reliable gist for the design and optimization of the CRH3-380A EMU's automatic opening/closing mechanism.
