| In recent years, earthquake disaster frequently occurred in the whole world, which brought great damage to the safety of life and property of people. Attribute to large transverse stiffness, better dynamic performance and elegancy of sculpting, as a new type of bridge, large-span steel-box handle basket arch bridge has played an important role in morden infrastructure construction. However, due to later development of large-span steel-box handle basket arch bridges, dynamic characterstics and seismic reaposnse of them are less researched. Based on Zhaoqing Xijiang large bridge on Nan-Guang high-speed railway as background, the dynamic characterstics and seismic reaposnse are analysed with the method of response spectrum analysis and time-history analysis. The main results of this paper are presented as follows:1. On the study of research data from domestic and foreign countries, development situation and characteristics of steel-box handle basket arch bridges are introduced through several domestic typical steel-box handle basket arch bridges. Combined with the vibration theory and seismic response analysis method, current situation of dynamic and'seismic performances of steel-box handle basket arch bridges are summarized. At the same time, factors affecting seismic response of large-span steel-box handle basket arch bridges are also reffered.2. Spatial finite element model is established using ANSYS software. Vibration characteristics of Zhaoqing Xijiang large bridge are calculated and analysed, and the influence of the arch rib angle to vibration characteristics is also discussed. Vibration characteristics of large-span steel-box handle basket arch bridges are summarized, which can provide foundation for further research on seismic response.3. According to site conditions of Zhaoqing Xijiang large bridge, appropriate ground motion input parameters are chosed, and response spectrum for seismic response analysis is established. Spectrum analysis is made by three ways:longitudinal input, transverse input and vertical input. And seismic response of large-span steel-box handle basket arch bridges is summarized. 4. El-Centro seismic wave adjusted is chosed for seismic ground motion input. Elastic time-history analysis of Zhaoqing Xijiang large bridge is carried out. The influence of vertical ground motion, traveling-wave effect and arch rib angle to seismic response is researched. |
